Press Release Body: It was a good sight to see the match between the teams of Mumbai Champs and Chandigarh Lions even after the Champs are out of the race of semi-finals. There was some good try that the team was trying to make through their performance even when they are at the bottom of the score table.
The match saw some good batting action that was unseen as yet from the Mumbai Champs team. In this match, they somehow have managed to take out the potential that they had inside throughout the series. S. Iyer was awarded the Man of the Match for his good bowling through which he struck two wickets in four overs and 13 overs.
After the opener Jadhav from the Mumbai Champs was shown the door, Patil who was the next man in also made a silent exit very soon. The other opener Paul started to rotate strike with Astle who saved face of the team by contributing well to the team's score. Astle managed 42 runs and Paul scored 30 runs and a momentum was gained for the team. However the middle order could not add much to it but it was Khirid from the lower order scored well and added 32 runs to the score of the team.
The Chandigarh Lions failed to live up to the expectations of the people and could not show any good batting innings from the players. Chetan Sharma was the highest scorer of the match with 23 runs. The strength of the batting line up seriously looked like it needs some help and the team ended with a score of 125 runs. The Mumbai Champs have managed to register this win with quite a convincing margin.
